Ron Lesh

Managing Director

Ron Lesh attained a Bachelor of Business in 1980, qualified as an Australian Chartered Accountant in 1992 and completed a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology in 1987. Ron worked for a number of accounting practices in Melbourne and the United Kingdom from 1980 to 1985 and became a practice principal in 1985. In 1989, Ron left full time professional accounting to join BGL Corporate Solutions and in 1991 became Managing Director. Ron is a Registered Tax Agent and Company Auditor and has extensive experience in Corporations Law, Taxation and Superannuation matters. Ron is a past member of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Business Advisory Committee.

Daniel Tramontana

General Manager

Daniel joined BGL in 1997 after having completed a degree in computer science and accounting. Before joining BGL, Daniel worked in public practice for several years. Daniel completed an MBA in 2004. Daniel was promoted to BGL Operations Manager in 2005 and became General Manager in 2008. Daniel is responsible for all operations and the design and implementation of BGL's business strategies.

Matt Crofts

Simple Fund 360 Product Manager

Matt joined BGL in 1999 and has a degree in Accounting and is a qualified CPA. Matt has been at the forefront of SMSF software helping BGL to drive Simple Fund from a product with 300 clients to over 5,000 clients. Matt's 8 years in Public Practice administering and advising on SMSF's, his focus on compliance, improving efficiencies and delivering on client's needs has helped achieve this.  Matt has migrated BGL towards web technologies and is the key person responsible for managing BGL's web platform Portal by BGL.

Steve Karro

Business Development Manager

Steve joined BGL in 2006 and has a degree in Commerce/Information Systems. Before joining BGL, Steve worked as a practice manager in a medium sized law firm and for a business that specialised in providing legal practice management solutions. Steve has been the CAS Product Manager for 5 years and together with his team is continuing to develop and maintain CAS in over 25 Jurisdictions.

Jeevan Tokhi

Simple Fund Product Manager

Jeevan has been a member of the BGL team since 2005, and in June 2011 was promoted to Simple Fund Product Manager. Jeevan has a strong background in Accounting as a qualified CPA, and holding a Bachelor of Business (Accounting). Jeevan's focus and dedication is ensuring Simple Fund remains compliant with Australia's complex Superannuation Law, whilst continually improving SMSF processing efficiency and automation.

 

Warren Renden

CAS Product Manager & BGL Query Manager

Warren joined BGL as a Support Consultant in 2007, and has a degree in Commerce. In 2008 Warren moved to the CAS product team as Assistant Product Manager. As a member of the CAS team, Warren is responsible for developing and maintaining CAS in over 25 jurisdictions. Warren also handles CAS database conversions and CAS database combines. In 2010 Warren was made BGL Query Product Manager, and is responsible for the development and maintenance of BGL Query. Warren conducts both CAS and BGL Query training sessions.

 

James Luo

Software Architect

James joined BGL as a Delphi Developer in 2007, and has completed his Master of Software Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. James's roll includes Software Architecture, development processes, and has extensive knowledge of Hadoop, Groovy / Grails, OSGI, GWT technology. James has worked on many successful projects within BGL from CAS to BGL Query. In January 2011 James was promoted to Software Architect / Lead Developer for BGL's new flagship product Portal by BGL.

 

Robyn Riley

Client Relations Manager

Robyn joined BGL in 2008. Prior to joining BGL, Robyn worked in several accounting firms in the area of corporate secretarial compliance. Robyn brings to BGL extensive experience in this area and in managing client relationships. Robyn is responsible for maintaining and developing relationships between BGL and its clients. Robyn also conducts CAS training.

 

Ashley Avileli

IT Manager

Ashley joined BGL in 2006. Ashley is responsible for the maintenance of the BGL computer systems, website, technical client support and the development of the future IT strategic direction of BGL. Ashley has extensive practical experience in IT across several industries. Ashley is a qualified MIT, CCNP, CCNA, MCSE, MCP and ADSE.

 

Penny Smith

Sales & Marketing Manager

Penny joined BGL in September 2008 as the Sales and Marketing Manager. Penny has more than 10 years marketing and sales experience and is responsible for the development and delivery of all BGL's marketing and sales. Penny brings to BGL a wealth of knowledge and expertise that has resulted in the development and overhaul of BGL's branding, marketing and sales.

 

Jess Campbell

Administration Manager

Jess has been a member of BGL since April 2005. Jess commenced work as a receptionist, and has moved in different positions throughout Admin, Training, Client Relations and Sales. Jess was promoted to Admistration Manager in 2009, and supervises the general running of the administration department. Jess's roll involves payroll, creditors, invoicing, elements of HR, and BGL social events.

 

Shireen Prasad

Training Manager

Shireen has completed a Bachelor of Business (Management), a Masters of Practising Accounting and recently completed her CPA Program. Shireen has been with BGL since January 2005 and today is responsible for the delivery, maintenance and development of the BGL clients and BGL team product training.

 

Jennifer Wong

Documentation Manager

Jennifer has been a member of BGL since April 2008. Jennifer has completed a Bachelor of Business Systems at Monash University, followed by a Masters of Professional Accounting at RMIT, and currently completing her CPA. Jennifer's role at BGL is to manage the BGL Wiki website and develop BGL software help documentation.

 

Pablo Rodriguez


Support Manager & Product Trainer

Pablo started with BGL in 2008 as a support consultant, and in July 2011 was promoted to the position of Support Manager. Pablo has completed his Bachelor of Accounting, and in the process of completing his CPA. Pablo works closely with the Support Consultants to equip them with the necessary skills required when dealing with clients. Pablo also manages the Support Consultants performances to ensure they are providing quality support to all BGL Clients.
